  • Rowing:

Once we leave our transport we begin our first paddles navigating the Curruhue Grande Lake passing through the river of the same name and after a lunch return to our campsite and paddle in the afternoon. We navigate the Laguna Verde to some almost warm pools that form the slag bed as the Laguna Verde enters its bed to the source of the Rio Escorial.

With more experience, we navigate Lake Epulafquen, reaching the Carilafquen waterfall and after rowing the entire Lake we skirt a gigantic volcanic lava dump until we reach an old park rangers section where we will learn the history of the Lanin National Park shield, for later continue paddling to Bahia Azul, mate and fried cakes and set up our camp.

At the end of the journey we will go through Lake Huechulafquen passing through the Island of goats towards the narrowness that joins the same lake with Lake Paimun where we will do the last night of camping. In the morning we paddle through the Paimun, disarming the campsite and ending the journey, we look for transportation and return to San Ma.

  • Trekking:

Early in the morning we went trekking towards the base of the Achen Niyeu Volcano, more precisely to the Portezuelo Waterfall. We walk along an initially high forest path that disappears as we gain height to be replaced by a huge valley of volcanic sand for approximately two and a half hours. In the afternoon we return to our camp on the shore of Laguna Verde.

The horseback ride is approximately six hours. It starts at the Bahia Azul beach, you go through characteristic forests of the Andean Patagonian mountain range to the lava dump of Achen Niyeu.
